Mr. Husain is a Chemical Engineer and MPA from IBA, Karachi. He is a career oil refiner with over 33 years of experience with PRL having led all Operations, Technical and Commercial functions in the Refinery. He is considered a refining expert in the industry and has also served as the Refining Specialist for the National Integrated Energy Plan in the Energy Expert Group of the Economic Advisory Committee, Ministry of Finance. He is currently on the Energy Panel of Pakistan Economic Forum of Pakistan Business Council and OICCI Energy Committee.

Mr. Husain was appointed to his current position on November 1, 2011.

Mr. Asad Hasan joined PRL in Dec, 2007. He is an engineer by profession and graduated from The University of Texas, Austin, USA, with a Master of Science degree in Engineering and Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from N.E.D. University, Pakistan. He is currently working as Senior Manager Projects, leading the Major Capital Projects for the Refinery and is responsible for overall delivery of major refinery upgrade projects such as Isomerization, Diesel Hydro-Desulphurization and Residue Upgrade Project.

Mr. Hasan has significant Project Management experience in the Global Oil and Gas industry and has successfully led numerous multi-disciplinary project teams during different project phases; ranging from conceptualization, FEED, EPC to commissioning. Prior to joining Pakistan Refinery Limited, Asad was associated with Chevron, North America Upstream, California, USA, where he worked on numerous capital projects of varying size and complexity.

Mr. Imran Ahmad Mirza - Chief Financial Officer  

Mr. Imran Ahmad Mirza is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan with over 24 years of diversified experience. He had worked for M/s A. F. Ferguson & Co., chartered accountants (a member firm of PriceWaterhouseCoopers) in Audit & Business Assurance area. Before joining PRL he had worked for Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, PICIC, NIB Bank and IBL Group of companies in senior positions in Finance, Internal Audit and Corporate Secretarial.

Mr. Muhammad Azhar - General Manager Operations

Mr. Muhammad Azhar is a graduate in chemical Engineering with Specialization in Petroleum and Gas Technology. He has joined Pakistan Refinery in 1985 and has 25 years of diversify experience in various discipline including Plant Operations, Technical Services, HSE and Supply Chain Management. His current position as General Manager Operations is responsible to ensure safe & smooth plant operation to meet company objectives in most effective and economical manners. In addition, being the Vice President of PRL Sports club contribute to team building, healthy environment and entertainment to the Employees.

Mr. Muhammad Khalid - Senior Manager Engineering  

Mr. Muhammad Khalid is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering. He joined Pakistan Refinery Limited in 1989 and has over 23 years of experience in various discipline including Plant Maintenance, Inspection, Construction and Projects. His current position as Senior Manager Engineering is to ensure safe and uninterrupted Refinery operation through robust and effective maintenance program.

Mr. Muhammad Ali Mirza - General Manager Supply & Oil Operations

Mr. Mirza is a Chemical Engineer & having a Masters degree in Environmental Engineering. He has over 26 years of diversified experience in refinery and fertilizers, worked in various disciplines including, Technical Services & Projects. Currently he is holding the position of Senior Manager Technology & Inspection.

Mr. Naman Shah - General Manager Technology & Inspection

Mr. Shah is a Chemical Engineer & has done his MBA. He has worked in various disciplines including Plant Operations, Technical Services, Human Resource & Projects for more than twenty years. Currently he is holding the position of General Manager Technology, Inspection and HSEQ. He is also Management Representative for the HSEQ Management System.
